Troubles and Persecutions are the staircase to Greatness and Prosperity

Troubles and Persecutions are NOT meant to discourage, suppress or destroy you as a Christian. They are just like a staircase that lead to your arena of Prosperity and Greatness.

 A true Christian can never be free from troubles or persecutions in this world. Any doctrine which encourages that a true and successful Christian life is achieved on a silver platter is a false one.  The Lord Himself warned His disciples about persecution and hatred. He was hated and persecuted during His time on earth and admonishes us that we will also encounter the same (John 15:18-21). 

James 1:2 & 3(KJV) reads,

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Troubles, disappointments, challenges and hardships will all come our way but the Lord assures us one thing that 'He has Overcome the world' (John 16:33).
How sweet that sounds!
This Victory the Lord Jesus Christ has won strengthens, comforts, encourages, quickens and empowers us (Christians) to remain focus until the  Prosperity and Greatness He has promised us are manifested in His own perfect timing. 


3 John 2 (KJV) reads,

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God's Peace Is Different From The World's peace

  People everywhere search for peace. They sing songs about it and travel on pilgrimages to find it. They even wage war to protect it. Many wealthy, famous, and powerful people would trade everything for just one moment of peace. What they often find, however, is the world’s false peace which is different from the peace offered by Jesus: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not  your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27) The peace offered by the world is an empty promise and can only bring temporary comfort.  The book of Proverbs says that “wine is a mocker” and that “beer is a brawler” and that “whoever is led astray by them is not wise” (Proverbs 20:1). The 2 Ways That Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You

FEBRUARY 16, 2018|IN BLOG POST, 2018|BY RYAN RUFUS I’m sure you are familiar with Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace”. Recently I have been ministering to someone who grew up being taught this scripture in a very religious way which resulted in terrible depression, and more recently becoming very suicidal. He was taught that if you don’t have dominion over sin then you are not in God’s grace and are not saved. He was told if you died with sin in your life then you are going to hell. The religious angle which makes this so deceptive and destructive is that “sin won’t have dominion over you if you are in grace, therefore if sin is having dominion over you then you are not in grace.” This is absolutely not what this scripture is saying and to teach it like this is to bring bondage and death. This teaching kills believers slowly, and in the case of my new friend almost drove him to the point of taking his own life. Thank
