DIVINE INSPIRATIONS

A Prophet of God is one who speaks ‘God’s truth’ to others. He knows the Heart and Mind of God and communicates them to individuals or even to nations. Thus, the Office of the Prophet.  He never speaks on his own authority or share his personal opinions. Also, ‘Gift of Prophecy’ should not be mistaken for ‘The Office of Prophet’. Gift of Prophecy is graciously given to believers as the Holy Spirit ‘wills’ and the primary purpose is to strengthen, encourage and to comfort believers (1 Corinthians 14). Speaking in tongues is a type of praying in the Spirit but not equal to praying in the Spirit.  I disagree with some men of God who preach and teach that speaking in tongues is the ONLY way a believer must pray in the Spirit. Praying in the Spirit is mentioned three times in Scripture. 1 Corinthians 14:15  says, “So what shall I do? There are a lot of Christians, Pastors and other religious people who argue that getting a tattoo is a sin and base their theory on Leviticus 19:28, which says: “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.” That seems pretty clear at first glance.
